It's been a while since I last blogged and a lot has gone on in my family since then. I'd like to tell you about my middle child's birthday party. On June 5, 2011 she became a teenager...UGH!! That makes 2 in our house and 1 to go...yes say your prayers for me and my husband, especially my husband because they are all girls:) But we wouldn't trade them for anything in the world! We hosted Brittany's 13th birthday at my husband's hunt club on May 27th. With lots of teenagers & soon to be teenagers dancing the night away, it wasn't all bad:) Lots of work and cleanup, yes, but it was all worth it. Started out a little slow and the boys didn't want to dance they just wanted to go outside and play football. But, big sister put her foot down and as the sun went down it was party central. From DJ Mike, to the Sweet & Treat Bar and her cake/cupcake tower that she & I designed it was a very memorable evening and a great way to kick off being a teenager!
